REVISED DATES AND DETAILS FOR 2008/09 AUSTRALIAN 16ft CHAMPIONSHIPS at Lake Illawarra

The Australian Association Executive have reviewed the details for next season's Australian 16ft (and 13ft) Championships and have now agreed to the following:-

* 7 day series (Sunday 4/1/09 to Saturday 10/1/09);

The following is the suggested format (subject to further discussion):-

* 9 race series with 1 reserve day (aim for 2 races 4/1/09, 2 races 5/1/09, reserve day on 6/1/09, 1 race 7/1/09, 2 races 8/1/09, 1 race 9/1/09 and 1 race 10/1/09);
* Target time for races on multiple race days to be 60-70 minutes, otherwise 90-100 minutes;
* 5 races constitute a series with no drop for 5 race series, 1 drop for 6 race series and 2 drops for 7-9 race series;
* No race to be scheduled to have a warning signal before 12 noon.
